Hope you are well and safe and enjoying your babies as they ❤️ you being home with them! With the government mandates, we are postponing our 5th Annual Fur Ball Sponsored by UBS BLS Financial Partners until April 24, 2021. We’ve been in ongoing conversations with our venue, the Suburban Collection Showplace on options as they become available. Our MIAWF Board is hard at work to decipher the ever-changing, fluid information as well as contact our sponsors with it so that we can make the best decisions for this fabulous event that does so much to help animals in need at Cat Tail Acres, Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit and the Michigan Animal Adoption Network / Animal Care Network. We will keep you informed. In the meantime, take good care of you and yours. And thank you if you are reading this, thank you for both your consideration for what we do and all your support.
The Fur Ball is a gala evening that celebrates the life-saving work of three local animal organizations. It includes a strolling cocktail reception, a sumptuous multiple-course buffet dinner, live music, dancing, and memorable silent and live auctions. The event attracts more than 300 animal lovers from all walks of life— community leaders, business owners, corporate executives, animal-sheltering innovators—joining “paws” to make a difference.
