Another Challenging Year

As a 501C3 non-profit organization, 2021 has been almost as challenging as 2020. Due to the pandemic continuing, the 2021 Fur Ball was once again postponed. This postponement equals a 20% reduction of our annual budget.

The need in our service area is greater than ever. Did you know that 65% of our clients are seniors living on a fixed income? We typically strive to receive $30,000 in fundraising dollars from our year-end appeal. For nearly 30 years, the animals have relied on us as a critical resource. Without your help, we will not be able to survive.

A little good news…the Animal Care Network has been able to spay / neuter more than 300 dogs and cats so far this year! We have also visited over 2,000 households so far this year — delivering dry and wet food, supplies and straw to animals in need — all while struggling through a pandemic.

Here are three ways you can support our efforts on behalf of the animals:

1. A year-end donation – via check or via PayPal. Click “Ways to support” above.

2. Monthly, sustaining donations in our “Paw-tner” Program – You can sign up for monthly PayPal donations in just minutes! Click “Ways to support” above.

3. Matching donations from any employers who participate.
Please consider a tax-deductible donation to make a lasting impact on animals in need.

Success stories in which you have directly made an impact in 2021…

Success! After being contacted by a pet owner needing assistance, we not only had his 3 adult dogs (2 male and 1 female) sterilized, we were able to get 2 of their puppies surrendered to one of our amazing rescue partners! The puppies received their initial puppy vaccines, got dewormed, bathed and sterilized…and were quickly adopted!

Sweet Nora’s owners contacted the Animal Care Network for assistance for a veterinary visit they could not afford. Nora had a skin infection on her neck & paws. Look at this transformation in just 4 days! Nora’s neck was much better and her paws look completely back to normal!

We could not be more pleased. And her vet visit would not have happened without YOUR generous donations.

Our volunteer teams continue to report a countless number of stray cats struggling to stay alive, let alone ever receive any veterinary care. The winter will be very hard on them. At least for the days we visit them, they have a good meal and fresh water. It is so very hard to witness this each and every day.

Support Programs:

-Faithful Feline Friend – A $40 donation will spay / neuter a cat.

-Caring Canine Caregiver – An $80 donation will spay / neuter a dog.

-Passionate Pet Protector – A $100 donation will provide critical veterinary care for a cat or dog.

Please donate now.

The animals, our staff and volunteers cannot say thank you enough to each and every one of our dedicated supporters!
