Thank you to the dedicated ACN volunteers for being out on the streets all Labor Day weekend: Friday, Saturday, Sunday AND Monday during this heat wave!

We visited over seventy addresses and over a hundred dogs and cats. We rescued fifteen dogs and cats this week!

Volunteers did everything from wellness checks, food assistance, making sure outdoor dogs and cats had water, talking with owners about spay neuter and proper and humane care of animals, untangling chains, applying flies off ointment, passing out literature and just trying to make the outdoor animals more comfortable and give them some love and attention.
