This mother cat and her two kittens were rescued thanks to a tip from a concerned neighbor.

The people had moved out a week earlier and left them behind.

This little family remained on the back deck of the vacant home drinking rain water and waiting for the owners to come home or someone to rescue them!

They were extremely hungry and thirsty. The mother cat only weighed three pounds, yet she was still caring for her two kittens.

Thanks to the Michigan Animal Rescue League for taking this family in and nursing them back to health!
