Another successful spay and neuter transport in partnership with Animal Care Network, Michigan Animal Rescue League and All About Animals!!!

As part of Spay and Neuter Awareness month we were able to get 21 dogs and 14 cats from our target areas fixed in one day!

Volunteers hit the streets at 5:30 am to pick up dogs and cats for pet owners with no transportation. Many pet owners also got up extremely early to get their cats and dogs to All About Animals to take advantage of this critical life-saving program! The spay and neuters were funded by Animal Care Network and Michigan Animal Rescue League spay neuter programs. Some owners even made a donation towards the surgery to help someone else get their dogs and cats fixed!

The dogs and cats were safely transported to All About Animals in Warren where they had their surgery and recovered. Some of the dogs and cats also received much needed vaccinations.

A few of the female animals had uterus infections so the owners were very thankful that they made the life-saving decision to get their pets in. These infections were also treated.

Without spaying and treatment, these uterus infections can absolutely cause death!

A very big thank you to everyone at All About Animals, including their transport drivers and the Michigan Animal Rescue League for making this event happen.
