Sadly the Animal Care Network visits many outdoor dogs that live in the backyard, isolated and chained up 24/7. We absolutely to not condone this way of life, but as much as we educate and convey this to the community, this sad existence will never change for them.
Unfortunately there are more chained dogs in our target area than inside dogs, therefore, we are so pleased to see the dogs in the house when we are doing our visits and food assistance stops.
Here are some of the luckier ones! Another positive note, all of these dogs were spayed and neutered through the Animal Care Network program.
Thanks to the pet owners for keeping these guys inside and part of the family!
