June 16, 2014: Early Spay and Neuter

The Animal Care Network highly recommends early spay and neuter for all dogs and cats.

The requests for early spay and neuter in our target area is on the rise thankfully. This not only makes for a healthier pet, but if the kitten or puppy is given away, runs away, sold or lost, they are not reproducing when they are of age!!

The Animal Care Network tries to educate the community including the children on the benefits of early spay and neuter. We also reward them with pet food and treats when the animals are transported back home.

Both of these kittens were spayed, vaccinated and dewormed at no charge thanks to your donations and private grants!! At such a young age, they were already found on the streets and rescued by these nice families. On a fixed income and no transportation they were able to get help through our amazing program!

Every single kitten, puppy, cat and dog that is fixed helps to achieve everyone’s goal of “No More Homeless Pets”.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO BEST FRIENDS ANIMAL SOCIETY FOR PROVIDING US WITH THE AWESOME AND INFORMATION “FIX AT FOUR” BROCHURES!!!
