December 10, 2014: Rescue Litter

A few months ago our volunteer Kim rescued several litters of puppies and kittens from the Flint area. Since the owners did not pass the puppies out, we spayed and neutered the mom and dad and any littermates that were kept. Thanks to your donations we were able to provide assistance to get all the remaining dogs and cats in the homes fixed!

Also a huge thank you to All About Animals Flint transport program which provides a critical, much needed service in the Flint area!

We DO NOT just take the puppies and kittens and not help the parents!!! We must stop the cycle!!!

Thankfully, we were able to get the puppies and kittens into the Michigan Animal Rescue League’s adoption program! MARL spays
and neuters all puppies and kittens before adoption!

Here is one of the puppies in his new home!

Great job Kim and MARL, thank you so much for sharing these success stories with us!

Patch (formerly Baxter) is doing incredibly well in his new home! He is getting lots of attention from his wonderful forever family. Patch came from a litter of six!
