The ACN received a call about a domestic rabbit that was attacked by a cat and was severely injured. The owner, unable to afford medical treatment, called the ACN to pick up this poor suffering little rabbit. He had become extremely ill and infected and had not eaten in days, we all know how sensitive rabbits are.

This poor rabbit looked okay from one side, but the other side of his face was nearly gone.

Sadly, he had to be euthanized due to the extent of his injuries and infection.

Easter is coming up soon, please do not get a rabbit unless you are familiar with them and able to properly care for and seek medical treatment when needed.
