The ACN teams continue to run into bad situations, finding many dogs starving, tangled, no shelter and sitting in mud and feces.  The volunteers try very hard to get the dogs surrendered but that does not always work unfortunately.

These situations are immediately reported to animal control and hopefully they will be remedied.

The ACN also does rechecks on all addresses of concern.

The team did a recheck on the black dog pictured a week later and her weight was greatly improved and we will check back.

Unfortunately, in our target areas, owners are not always receptive to our assistance.

As volunteers we do the best that we can do to improve and remedy each and every situation for the animal.
