Here is another great rescue story about thanks to ACN’s great eyes! We noticed a run down doghouse in a backyard and the situation did not look too good.

Kathy and Heather on the case! Bravo to them for rescuing Darby, they persuaded the owner to surrender this dog, strangely enough they had another dog in the house that was being taken care of.

Darby was not so lucky, emaciated and dehydrated chained to a doghouse in the backyard. She appeared to be a four month old puppy because of her size, but upon examination was almost a year old.

Sadly, many of the dogs in our target area that suffer from lack of nutrition and poor nutrition do not grow properly.

After being nursed back to health and hanging out with Elf, Darby was adopted.
