The ACN rescued four abandoned dogs by request of the owner who had moved weeks earlier and left the dogs behind. The adult dogs were rescued right away but we could not locate the two older puppies at first. We found one hiding in a shed in the backyard, the grass was so long we could barely see him. The second one was locked in a back room filled with garbage and straw. They were skinny, hungry and thirsty and happy to see us. One of the puppies had a old scar completely around the waist from something that had embedded into his body.

These dogs were taken to a local animal shelter and foster care.
