August 21, 2014: Breeder Dog Rescue

The Animal Care Network received a call from a concerned relative regarding the condition and living environment of multiple “breeder” dogs.

ACN was able to rescue six of these wonderful dogs. They were all matted, overgrown nails, covered in urine and feces, flea infested, severely overbred and a couple of them were heartworm positive.

Thank you to our partners at the Michigan Animal Rescue League for taking on these awesome dogs, treating them, having them groomed and spaying and neutering them before they were adopted!  No more breeding for you guys and gals!!

Thanks MARL for always being there for the ACN in situations like these.

These dogs are now living happy healthy lives in their new homes!
