These 3 cute little kitty faces are the byproduct of someone feeling sorry for, thus feeding, their mommy and a Tom cat who apparently is “a neighborhood fixture.” Now of-course we hear what we ALWAYS hear which is this simple, yet loaded, sentence: “they’re not my cats.”
Um. The cats think they are your cats. They keep coming to you for food and you keep providing it for them. Upon a few more visits and talking to more people in the neighborhood, it turns out that the Tom cat is “a fixture” with only 3 families and none of those families, even collectively, have any interest in scraping money together to get him fixed. Yes, of-course we will do it. But what a slap in the face to the cat, no?
