Can you believe that these beautiful landscapes have sprung up to replace the rubble where abandoned houses once proudly stood? Take a left in an alley behind a burned down house, and voila…you might find such a sight!

(Of-course the view belies the truth: the worst of human behavior finds these areas to their advantage and danger lurks everywhere.)

Although these wildflower – overgrown wonderland – pockets of Inkster and Detroit don’t make it any easier to reach the more inaccessible backyards, it certainly makes the bushwhack more enjoyable!
