Vaccine clinics for cats and dogs

The Animal Care Network and Centerstage QTMC, Inc. is hosting a vaccine clinic for dogs and cats from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Centerstage Rental Hall & QTMC, Inc. 536 N. Perry, at the corner of Glenwood in Pontiac.
The cost is $10 per animal. Services offered are: Distemper/Parvo for puppies or dogs 6 weeks or older; Distemper CVR for kittens and cats 6 weeks or older; one year rabies and three year rabies, if applicable, for dogs and cats 3 months or older; and deworming is available for puppies and kittens.
Residents from any city or county are welcome to bring pets for vaccines. Oakland County will be on site selling 2012 dog licenses. For more information, call 248-678-2756, visit michigananimaladoptionnetwork.org, or email miaan@att.net.
Founded in 1994, the Michigan Animal Adoption Network/Animal Care Network is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization in the Metro Detroit area. MAAN strives for new and different ways to educate the public, raise money to continue its low-cost spay/neuter program, street rescue efforts, and to find loving homes for homeless pets.
To date, MAAN has placed more than 6,210 dogs and cats through the Adopt-A-Pet program and visited over 90,000 addresses to offer assistance through the Animal Care Network. The ACN has rescued more than 13,000 dogs and cats and spayed/neutered over 5,700.
ACN hosts vaccine clinics which can vaccinate more than 1,000 animals in one day. These programs have received national recognition from Nickelodeon News, History Channel, Best Friends Animal Society and received an Animal Planet nomination.
