This brutal cold weather is hard on all the animals, especially ones that are skinny and older.
ACN visited Missy recently, we had her spayed 8 years ago and periodically check on her.
Missy is over 9 years old now and wasn’t doing so well in the cold …
weather.
Thanks to our Sue, the owners were provided with a donated crate so that they can keep her inside during this weather.
Many of you will ask, why don’t they just bring her in without a crate?
We do not have the answer to that. Sadly that idea is unheard of at so many of the addresses. IF they are brought inside the majority of the dogs are chained up in the basement which is not ideal either.
