The small dog population is exploding in our target areas.  And yes! the owners are giving them up too!

Young and old alike people give these little dogs up just as often as the big dogs anymore.

Reasons: moving, no pet housing, not allowed in apartment or house (we forgot to check when we got a dog), can’t housebreak, barks to much, doesn’t like the baby, etc.

After the owners no longer wanted two of these little guys, they locked them in a feces urine filled cage in a cold garage.

They were dirty, starving and so thirsty. One even had a  homemade FLEA HARNESS embedding in his skin!

or into one of our rescue partners!
