Every single stop or contact with an owner is worthwhile for the Animal Care Network volunteers. If it gets an animal rescued or fixed or makes a situation better for the animal, then it is very meaningful and important!

We had seen Ramona near a busy road dragging a cable and immediately turned around to help! Her owners lived just a few houses away and were looking for her. They were new to the area and one of the kids had not hooked up her cable properly when they put her outside. It only takes a minute for a loose or lost dog to get pregnant!

Well we connected with the owner and that week we had Ramona spayed and finished up her vaccines.

We saw Ramona and her family the other day and they are doing great.  Ramona is a indoor, loved dog that lives in a very nice, active household!
