As we hit the streets in memory of Cindy’s Merz’s birthday the weather was quite unique. The clouds were unbelievably cool today and it was raining and sun shining at the same
time. The temperature and breeze were perfect to be out on the streets all day, so that was great.

What was also great, was what our volunteer Angie did for this occasion. She made these beautiful memory bricks with pretty stones and engraved with Cindy’s Wings, Love Lives,
and Rescue. What a unexpected heartfelt gesture.

Cindy’s husband Chuck got one of each and we all got two to take home for our homes and gardens. That was pretty awesome Angie!

We also wore our Cindy’s Wings badges proudly on the streets.

Thanks again team! Cindy is proud and wouldn’t want her birthday celebrated any other way!!
