The ACN discover this very nice pit bull “Ash” was living underneath the cab of a truck and it was getting quite muddy around his area.  This is not adequate shelter by any means!

The owners would not give up the dog so we had to proceed and try to make his living arrangements better. He has surely never missed a meal we have to give them that.

We got Ash neutered and vaccinated and once he healed up provided him with a new doghouse on a pallet and filled it with straw.  We also spread straw all around the area so soak up the mud.

Living outside on a chain is never a good situation, but many times we just have to improve the conditions and educate the owners.  We love Ash and continue to check up on him.
