In our target areas, the small dog population seems to be exploding!

The ACN tries to spay and neuter every dog that we can, regardless of breed, size or age.

This is not only a good thing to do for health, temperament and pet overpopulation reasons, but what if you ever had to find a home for your pet, like so many people have to for various reasons. Many pet owners find themselves in situations that they never expected and sadly, suddenly they have to give up their cat or dog.

Wouldn’t it be better if the animal was already spayed or neutered, wouldn’t that dog or cat have a better chance of being adopted if it was already fixed. Makes sense!
