On a weekend ACN run, the rescue phone received a call about a dog that had been attacked by another dog.  The owner was unable to keep Ernest, the injuries where very severe and they could not afford vet care.

ACN Team Kim and Edwina responded immediately and we were able to get help from the Michigan Animal Rescue League, one of our rescue partners. Edward was treated for his injuries, lost a portion of his ear, was neutered and will be available for adoption soon!

ACN sure does come in handy for the animals by being out on the weekends, every Saturday and Sunday!
