Thanks to our friend, volunteer and fellow humanitarian Shari Scott for setting up a great community partnership with Meals on Wheels Pontiac.

The Animal Care Network donated dog food, cat food, toys, treats and doggy Christmas wreaths. Shari made up individual pet gift bags that were delivered over Christmas and New Year holidays to the seniors and citizens serviced by Meals on Wheels. Many of these citizens have only their pets to keep them company.

These gift bags were an added surprise to all cat and dogs owners that received the Meals on Wheels Christmas and Holiday meals. Hopefully this small gesture made many people have a brighter holiday.
