Pontiac Vaccine Clinic – April 16, 2011

ANIMAL CARE NETWORK pulled off another successful vaccination clinic, despite the rain and wind! 919 dogs and cats were vaccinated in a 4 hour period. 306 dog licenses sold by Oakland County Animal Control, who joined us for the first time.

Due to the bad weather, we had to regroup and rearrange our regular procedure to accommodate all of the pet owners, their pets, as well as our veterinarians and volunteers!

We utilized the inside of the Centerstage for the first time and the Glenwood Plaza venue more than usual, thanks to cooperation from Dave Coleman and Mike Yono. We also had a pet shuttle (Kathy and Kristie) running all day to provide transportation for pet owners that had no way to get there.

What a great event and community service this is! We could not do it without all of our awesome volunteers. I have never seen a better group effort.

From the veterinarians and vet techs, to the pooper scooper and pizza delivery, we thank each and every one of you for your contribution.

See you in October!
