THE ANIMAL CARE NETWORK’S LOW-COST VACCINATION CLINIC WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

Pontiac, MI – April 20, 2010 – Despite snow flurries and cold temperatures all day on Saturday, April 17, 2010, the Animal Care Network’s low-cost vaccination clinic was a wonderful success!

The clinic took place on Saturday, April 17, from 10am to 2pm at Center Stage, located at 536 N. Perry Street in Pontiac. Residents from cities all over Metro Detroit and even Flint came out to have their pets immunized.

In four hours, 1,031 animals received their vaccinations! The Animal Care Network would like to sincerely thank the attending veterinarians, veterinarian technicians and all the volunteers who helped pull off this massive effort.

Pam Porteous, Animal Care Network Manager, said, “Pet owners came from all over Michigan to attend this much-needed community service. With the declining economy, people are losing their income and their homes, and they do not want to lose their pets too!”
