Businesses help charity

Several  businesses will give food to the Animal Care Network.

A total of $4,000 has been raised for the organization’s street team, which works in Pontiac and Inkster, but the need continues. It will take $40,000 to cover the cost of getting through the winter alone.

Aleta Sill’s Bowling World and Teknicolor Paints have stepped up to help collect dog and cat food and supplies. Aleta can be reached at 248-615-9060.

Teknicolor Paints will collect food and supplies through Nov. 30. Aleta Sill’s Bowling World will collect until Dec. 17.
