PONTIAC: Clinic to offer low-cost vaccinations for pets

A low-cost vaccination clinic for dogs and cats is to be held Oct. 10 in Pontiac.

The event — from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Centerstage Rental Hall, 536 N. Perry — is being sponsored by the Animal Care Network, Centerstage, the QTMC Music Group and the city.

Shots are $10 per animal or $25 per litter. Shots cover distemper and parvo for dogs 6 weeks and older, distemper for cats 6 weeks and older, and rabies for dogs and cats 3 months and older.

The event is open to anyone. The City of Pontiac is to sell 2010 city dog licenses for $10 each.
