Animal Rescue League Helps Burned Puppy

POSTED: 5:44 pm EDT August 3, 2006 Local 4 reported on Thursday evening on a puppy in Pontiac that was rescued this week after being seriously burned.

It is believed the puppy, Melvin, was burned with gasoline, Local 4 reported. He is expected to recover, but it will be a long process, according to the Michigan Animal Rescue League.

The MARL expects to have Melvin up for adoption soon and also has many other animals that are in need of adoption.
