Parvovirus Vaccinations Available
PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) – Hundreds of dogs have died this year in Pontiac from the parvo virus. That’s why the Animal Care Network is offering a low-cost vaccination clinic Saturday to help combat the problem.
Parvo is a highly-contagious, usually fatal disease, characterized by intense vomiting and diarrhea.
The clinic will be open Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Centerstage rental hall at 536 North Perry in Pontiac.
Shots are ten-dollars per animal or 25-dollars a litter.
