Vaccine Clinics

Having your animal vaccinated is very important.  But we realize that because of finances some people are unable to have it done.   This is why we started sponsoring low cost vaccine clinics twice a year in Pontiac, MI.

The vaccine clinics are held in  April and October.  No matter what the weather conditions, we are out there.  All animals receive a species appropriate Distemper vaccine and if old enough (over 3 months), a Rabies vaccine.   All vaccines are given by licensed veterinarians who donate their time and expertise.

Even though the vaccine clinic is held in Pontiac,  it is open to everyone.  You do not have to live in Pontiac to attend nor do you have to prove that you are low income.  Everyone is welcome.

We do ask that all dogs are on leashes and all cats are in carriers, preferably one cat per carrier.   The clinic is held outside and we do not want any animals running away.  Please remember that if your cat or dog is extremely scared, extremely aggressive or normally needs anesthetic  to be vaccinated, they probably will not do well here.   We usually vaccinate over 1,000 animals in 4 hours, which means there is a lot of barking and noise.

For more information on when the next vaccine clinic is,  please check our upcoming events page or call 248-545-5055.
