Low-cost vaccination clinic for dogs, cats

PONTIAC — The Animal Care Network, Centerstage & QTMC, Inc. and the City of Pontiac are hosting a $10 vaccine clinic for dogs and cats from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 at Centerstage Rental

Hall & QTMC, Inc., 536 N. Perry, by Glenwood between Woodward and Martin Luther King.

The cost is $10 per animal, $25 per litter. Vaccinations available include: Distemper/Parvo for puppies/dogs 6 weeks or older Distemper CVR for kittens and cats 6 weeks or older Rabies (one year) for dogs and cats 3 months or older Residents from any city or county are welcome to bring pets for vaccines.

In addition, City of Pontiac will be selling 2010 dog licenses (Pontiac residents only) for $10. Contact Pam at (248) 678-2756 for more information.

FYI People from any city are encouraged to bring their dogs to the Animal Care Network’s shot clinic, which is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday at Centerstage Rental Hall & QTMC Inc., 536 N. Perry in Pontiac. There is a $10 fee per animal, and distemper/parvo, rabies, feline distemper CVR vaccinations will be given. Call (248) 678-2756 for more information.

The Animal Care Network (a division of the Michigan Animal Adoption Network) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that has been providing a community service in low-income areas of Wayne and Oakland County since 1994.
